I have always been driven by a passion for the arts and a love for history. In Jr. High School though my aspirations were of becoming a corporate attorney. However, a transformative experience living abroad, for 2½ years in France and Belgium, opened my eyes to the world of art and sparked a new direction for my study.
With my newfound love for fine art, upon my return I changed my major to Art History and started exploring the world of drawing and painting. Though I had a strong interest in working with original artifacts and considered a career as a conservator, life took me in yet a different direction, and I pursued other professional avenues in the transportation industry.
Retirement brought me back to my first love, and I found myself drawn to the canvas once again. My true passion lies in bringing ancestors to life through my paintings, and it is through this work that I find the most fulfillment.
Art has always been a mischievous friend, and I am grateful to have finally dedicated myself to it full-time. I hope to use my art to create a bridge between the past and the present, bringing history to life for future generations to experience and appreciate.
